ciao...

then it came to an end....back home..ah, home...sorta..last night we got back to Josh Smith's cousin's house where we are now resting our tired bodies...it has been amazing to be a guest in their home and they are one of the coolest families that i've met; Josh's cousin, Christin, ('s) husband Tom is in the Air Force and is stationed at Aviano AFB which is a pretty active base and one that i've heard of in the news before; he does intellegence type work and did a tour in Iraq last year, capturing many terrorists and "insurgents" trying to sabotage the work being done there. they have three really cool kids that i have definitely enjoyed hanging out with, the con-man, ray-ray, and livy (perhaps the cutest 4 year old on earth). because they can get all of their food at the base they have stuff like Dr. Pepper and Pace Picante Sauce that i've haven't had in months, during my time here i have definitely felt like i was back in the states, and it has been wonderful; they have been really good to us, and for that i am grateful; this pic was taken at the train station near there house...in Pordenone of all places..while we were waiting for Tom to come pick us up at 1am last night; i would try to sum up my time with the guys, but it is late and i don't know that i've soaked it all in...i will say that my time in Italy would not have been nearly, nearly as fun it it hadn't been with them...we laughed, we cried, we WALKED!! (sooo much..) and i loved every minute of it. if you are ever looking for three hilarious guys to invite yourself on a trip to a foreign country with, these are the guys to pick. so while our adventures have sadly come to an end i will try to carry on the banner of antics alone as i push forward to conquer the uncharted lands of Switzerland and Germany for the forces of humor.  Posted by Hello
