Florence...

ah, Florence; the last stop on our trip Florence was another good town to relax and just walk around (alot); the only "big" site to see was the church (Duomo)..can you tell? it stands at least twice as tall as any other buildings! the dome here was incredible and with this one plus the bigger dome at St. Peter's at the Vatican i got my share of really cool architecture (and renewed my desire to have a dome in my house one day); of course there was the statue of David, but i decided not to post a picture of that since it is...quite...revealing; we were only in Florence for a night and got there three hours late because of chaos with the trains out of Rome (we also left Florence to go home two and a half hours late because of the chaos there...dumb trains) we saw the sites and ended up on a hill overlooking the town where we got some really cool pics, and seth and i embraced as we watched the sunset. (we should have remembered to bring girls on this trip..)
