this is a shot of us eating dinner the night of my stay; the young guy, my new friend 'Garcia', went along to translate; Uncle Chen asked me what my favorite foods were and then proceeded to cook them for each meal. this is us eating Yu Shang Ruo Si, probably my favorite dish and one that i ate almost every night that i was in china since it was one of the only things that i knew how to order. please note that we are toasting our beer, something that happened pretty often considering the ammount he tried to make us drink. we ate most of our meals outside in the courtyard of their house, behind me is their son's kitchen and next to it on the right is their little kitchen.
