fun times; this is at the summer palace as we were climbing the main hill there to see the emperor's buildings. they were doing alot of work on the place at the time and because nothing in china is mechanized these poor scrawny chinese guys were dragging this cart full of stone up the hill; we passed by them at one point and kept walking but i decided that i needed to help, (i decided that it could count as my workout for the previous couple of months) so i pitched in; i helped them most of the way up the hill and got lots of 'xie xie's in the process; it was fun, and not at all easy, and part of the joy of being able to do things with people that you can't talk to.
