commenting frenzy....

wow, i come to you today truly humbled by the sheer quantity of comments posted since i was last at a computer; just a few months ago it was all a dream...; i am in Wuhan now, things have been fun and of course quite crazy for the last few days but our boat landed at 2 in the morning last night and contrary to our belief we were ushered off at 2 and put on a bus (just me and curtis) with chinese migrant workers bound for Wuhan, 4 hours away; i think we slept for about 45 minutes between the blasting music that they played the whole time and the massive potholes and the over-used horn; we got in about 7 and are hanging out with some of curt's 'associates' in Wuhan and i will head out on a 37 hour train ride south tonight at 11, (i don't think i'll have any problems sleeping); things were beautiful and relaxing on the river cruise (i'll try to get some pics up) and we met lots of interesting people; ok, i've got to go for now, but try to keep the comments civil, be nice to each other, and let's all welcome melanie (and family) to the commenting world, just a few months late, but making up for lost time. ; )
