This pic was taken last saturday night as Melanie and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary; a year is a long time (31,556,925.9936 seconds to be exact), and it's been altogether better than i could have imagined (i'll stop there fred); we went out in College Station and did a few of the same things that we did on our first dates; we carved a pumpkin during our first 'long hangout' (melanie won't let me call it a date for some reason) so we went back to the same place and did it again along with several other things around town; while entirely unoriginal (you run out of new stuff to do in CS pretty quick) it was really cool to talk about when we had been doing this same thing a year ago, and all of the things that had changed and developed since then (again, i'll stop, fred); so, i guess i'll leave it at that; i think there are a couple of exciting posts in the works so stay tuned.....i thank you all for your kind comments; i do acknowledge the following in response: 1) yes, melanie is way too good for me, and i am acting... ; ) 2) i agree that seth would fall short in the 'adorable' category, but probably bounce back with a victory in the 'overall' category, based on his superior wit, charm and rock-ish starriness. 3) that i am currently 'mushier' than i ever thought i would be in a public forum such as this, but i will never be Sean Eppers, (also, see Matt Graham for love poetry, etc.)
