{scene takes place in and around the United States Embassy in Beijing, China on the 14th of March 2005 as the main character, we'll call him Josh, goes to meet the Ambassador}

FIRST SECURITY GUARD: Which building do you need to go to?
JOSH: I'm not sure, I have a meeting with the Ambassador.
FIRST SECURITY GUARD: {with suspicious and condescending tone} The Ambassador?
JOSH: Yes, the Ambassador.
FIRST SECURITY GUARD: Ok, hold on.
{outside of building compound}
SECOND SECURITY GUARD: What is your business here?
JOSH: I have a meeting with the Ambassador.
SECOND SECURITY GUARD: {with suspicious and condescending tone} The Ambassador?
JOSH: Yes, the Ambassador.
SECOND SECURITY GUARD: Your passport. {checking records} Ok, go in.
{security check point for the building compound}
THIRD SECURITY GUARD: Why are you here?
JOSH: I have a meeting with the Ambassador.
THIRD SECURITY GUARD: {with suspicious and condescending tone} The Ambassador?
JOSH: Yes, the Ambassador.
THIRD SECURITY GUARD: What's your name {Checking notebook}. Ok, take everything out of your pockets.
{inside the building}
FOURTH SECURITY GUARD: Yes?
JOSH: Hi, I have a meeting with the Ambassador.
FOURTH SECURITY GUARD: {with suspicious and condescending tone} The Ambassador?
JOSH: Yes, the Ambassador.
FOURTH SECURITY GUARD: Your passport. {typing in computer} Ok, sit down.
{waiting area}
PERSONAL ASSISTANT: Hi...John?
JOSH: It's Josh.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT: Ok, follow me.
{and scene}
CAST: first security guard: the chinese guy with good english accent and a machine gun
second security guard: the chinese lady
third security guard: the fat guy that looked hawaiian
fourth security guard: marine guy who isn't very cool
personal assistant: guy who doesn't know my name
josh: played by himself
{for the record, the meeting was rather uneventful; the ambassador was nice but didn't answer my questions very well; i also met with the health officer who was pretty nice and said that he would try to include me in some stuff with his department, he got my name and phone number...so we'll see; i didn't feel very on top of my game at all, not my best performance, but it was fine.}
