Today in my Boring Life: Chapter 1 - tele-tubbies

today's anatomy lab was one that has been long feared by joshlangston.com...it was the dissection of the anal region. you may recall my previous accounts of my anatomy professor's antics, so I thought I'd add this one to the list. At the end of every lecture he shows a video detailing what we will be doing in the lab; since today's lab was rather gross, I guess he decided to try and counter that with an opening screen featuring a rolling meadow with the title "life is all daisies and roses" ... he then played the DVD which began by showing the tele-tubbies TV show intro where they are running around on the fake meadow and then get together in a huddle and watch some object descend from the sky (not really sure what that's about). It's been awhile since my avid tele-tubbies watching days, but i think that is a fair setting-of-the-scene. only, my professor had superimposed a photograph of the anal region over the 'object descending from the sky'... so it started far away on the horizon and as it got closer, and the tele-tubbies got more excited, we the audience were able to see that in fact what was approaching was not the magic tele-tubbies UFO but in-fact a photograph of a human cadaver's anal region; when it 'arrived' we continued with the dissection video; well, there ya go, for those who requested info on what it's like to be in med school, i guess you've got to mix things up some how...until next time, this has been Today in my Boring Life.
