the last hurrah...

this weekend i did my (potentially) last ever "weekend retreat for high school kids where you stay in town but at some family's house and a college student is your group leader" (though usually tagged with a less cumbersome name like "Disciple-Now"). This one was at Fellowship of the Woodlands and carried the appropriate title "Reality Weekend"; I really like that name for it, I think that in high school (and now) that's what I need(ed)...reality...not some "i'm half in denial" version of it; we had a good time, I had a great group and together I think we experienced/figured-some-stuff-out about God. There really isn't that much to figure out when you get down to it, we're the ones that make it hard. anywho, i'm is CS right now because...TODAY'S THE DAY!! that's right, in a matter of hours I will be finding out where i will be spending the next four years or so of my life..the suspense...well, details to follow after midnight!
