good times, good cigars...

few things are as beneficial to quality conversation among a group of friends as a fine cigar on a muggy houston evening; this past friday micah and i drove to houston to visit our good buddy ryan peeples for the evening and ended up rendezvousing with several other shady characters from the past including the oil tycoon jerod huggins, racecar driver darrell, and future dr. 90210 john griffin. it was great to see these guys and catch up on what's been happening in the last six months, but it made me realize two things: 1) they all have real jobs and are talking about buying cars, while i am hoping my car will last me 7 more years until i have a real job, and 2) we are all moving on with our lives and especially given my new occupation come august who knows the next time that i will get to hang out and relax with said company...tough reality. so we made the most of it...good times had by all!
